HELP : What fabric is this?

I'm making a garment at college and want a fabric like this :

Only problem is I have no idea what its called. :( Any help? x

i'd say its a pvc coated lycra or a pvc material that has a lycra base. I wouldnt say its lame. Its a soft looking pvc, i'd say.

you could replicate it easily with some heavy taffeta or raw silk. it wouldn't be exactly the same but it might be easier to get hold of than PVC stuff!!
