Hey everyone,

I am a media studies student and was wondering if you could help me with your views on this question.

Do you believe that there is a growing intrest in young teenagers inspiring to be more like there favourite celebrity for example Kate moss and Sienna miller? Do you think they go too far for example size zero etc.

Also how are you influenced by your favourite celeb? Do you copy there lifestyle, dress sense etc.

I believe that fashion is a mirror.. What you see in billboard, magazines and or media especially your favorite celebrities and or other cultural icons have always influenced what you're wearing..

Teens these days would pretty much copy anything. And it's not just with these size 0 women, they're also going crazy over that icky emo fashion. As far as influence goes, I do wish that the kids try out healthy ways when they really want to lose weight instead of being anorexic or bulemic. Also, I hope they don't copy celebrities' lifestyles of hard partying, drugs and alcohol.

I dont copy my favourite celebs but I can see how easy it is for marketing companies to exploit the more influenced audience.
