Question Have shoe sizes gotten bigger?

I was trying on shoes recently and couldn't find anything small enough for me. If they were short enough, they were too wide. I walked out with nothing. A lot of the shoes they didn't even have in my size. (I'm a size 6. It's not like I'm freakishly small.)

Have shoe sizes gotten bigger like clothing sizes to make the 65% of america that's overweight feel better about themselves?

I'm afraid to order shoes online now.

I'm still having trouble finding shoes that are narrow enough. I know my feet didn't get smaller.

Default I don't think so

I got a pair of shoes to my daughter and they'll fit on her well. You may try to change the brands that you prefer maybe.
Regards,

I'm finding that shoe stores are stocking up on more bigger sizes.

It used to be torture for me trying to find shoes that were big enough (size 11) and would have to shoe shop at the very beginning of each season to ensure I'd be able to find shoes big enough. Now I don't seem to have that problem as much, but finding shoes on sale in my size is still tough!

OMG. this exact thing has been happening over in Australia too. about 10 years ago, i could easily fit into a 6.5 and now Im a size 5/35 in shoes. It is rampant everywhere and I actually think it's very sad

I just published my rant on vanity sizing in my blog.Check it out below!
